The Dutch beach volleyball team Christiaan Varenhorst (28 years) and Jasper Bouter (21 years) will not play together anymore.
This decision is made by Christiaan Varenhorst. Since August 2017 they were playing together and won the Dutch Championship last August 2018. Ended during the European Championship, last Summer, on the 5th place and, their best result in a World Tournament, ended 4th at the DELA Beach open The Hague last January.
With who, both of them, will create a new beach volleyball team, is not decided yet. Both will still be joining the Beach Volleyball Team Netherlands.
During King of the Court they joined the whole world tour and are, in the King of the Court overall ranking, on the 6th place. Besides that, they won the bronze medal during King of the Court Utrecht and showed us a lot of great rally’s during the final.
We are very sorry that this is happening but we wish them, both, all the best for the future and hopefully see them on the court again very soon!
