Gold for the Beach Volley Vikings and Queens Bansley/Wilkerson in Las Vegas!

Utrecht |

At the 21st of October, during the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in Las Vegas, our Kings & Queens won the gold medals.

Kings Anders Mol and Christian Sørum made it to the final and claimed the gold medal with straight sets (21-13, 21-17) from Poland’s Grzegorz FIjalek and Michal Bryl.

Also Russian King Oleg Stoyanovskiy and his partner Viacheslav Krasilnikov were on the podium, this time with the bronze medal. Stoyanovskiy was playing together with Alexander Brouwer during King of the Court Utrecht & Antwerp and showed there already how talented he is with all his skills.

Queens Heather Bansley and Brandie Wilkerson came out on top in the all-Canadian gold medal match at the FIVB Las Vegas Open last Sunday and won their first title in the 2018-2019 World Tour season. Bansley and Wilkerson needed all three sets (21-17, 17-21, 15-9) to take down Queens Melissa Humana-Paredes and Sarah Pavan in the final.

We are very proud of all these Kings and Queens and congratulate them with these amazing results! Enjoy the couple of weeks holiday and see you soon on the court!
