From March 9 till 12 Vodafone Queen & King of the Court will be played in a state-of-the-art Skybox stadium on South Beach, which offers the most exciting experience possible for fans in a night-festival setting. USA’s pinnacle in beach volleyball faces off against the world’s best players from top beach volleyball countries. Entry to the grandstand is free! This is one event you can’t afford to miss!
Queen and King of the Court has earned its stripes over the past five years. It has revolutionized the beach volleyball world with a game that’s played on time, with five teams facing-off at once instead of just two. Elimination needs to be avoided when the crowns of Miami Beach are at stake. Points can only be scored on the winners side.
Queen & King of the Court in Miami Beach will be organized in cooperation with Official Festival Partner City of Miami Beach, Florida Sports Foundation, the AVP and the local beach community South Beach Volley. Vodafone Queen & King of the Court is held in the second week of Miami Beach’s month-long fitness program in March.
USA’s best teams will take on the world. Players like Phil Dalhausser, Tri Bourne, Taylor Crabb, Taylor Sander, but also (female) players from the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Canada, Australia and Europe will stop at nothing to be able to be crowned as Queens or Kings.
On Thursday March 9th a qualification tournament will be played for teams hoping to earn a spot in the Main Draw. The Main Draw for Vodafone Queen & King of the Court will consist of fifteen teams per gender spread over three pools, starting on Friday March 10th. The first-ever Kings and Queens of Miami Beach will be crowned on Sunday March 12th.
A Skybox stadium will be built, which will stay for more than two weeks at South Beach. Half of the stadium consists of skyboxes, built on one long and one short side of the stadium. In each of the skyboxes six fans will be able to have a VIP-experience, while enjoying beverages brought to them. On top of the skyboxes a VIP-terrace is realized, to enjoy an exclusive rooftop view of Queen & King of the Court. Tickets will go on sale soon, follow our socials, so you won’t miss your chance at a perfect Beach Volleyball adventure.
On the other long side of the stadium a 800-seat grandstand will be built. Grandstand tickets are free, but you can make sure you’ll get the best spot for just $ 10. You can also watch the games from the Fan Zone.
