The third edition of the international top beach volleyball tournament CM.com King of the Court Utrecht will commence in less than a month. The best of the best in Beach Volleyball will once again visit the Dutch city from where the spectacular format originates.
Teams will travel from Hamburg, where they have contested the first-ever German King of the Court crowns, straight to Utrecht. Sportworx will again build the now famous corona-proof stadium on the Jaarbeursplein to ensure people can safely visit the tournament, that will be held from August 25 till 28. Utrecht is the second stop on the King of the Court Crown Series, right after Hamburg will have its debut form 19 till 22 August.
After the editions of 2018 and 2020, this will be the third time an international field will play for the reign of Utrecht. In 2018 Spain’s Pablo Herrera and Adrian Gavira won the first-ever edition. Last year in the first double-gender in Utrecht Brazil’s Ágatha Bednarczuk and Eduarda "Duda" Santos Lisboa were crowned Queens, as the Swiss Marco Krattiger and Florian Breer ruled as Kings.
