Biography I played every ball sport until I was 15 and started playing volleyball because it runs in the family; my dad and two older sisters all compete at a high level. I switched to full-time beach volleyball when I was 19 and have loved the sport and it’s lifestyle ever since. I got married this August to Hanneke, who I met through beach volleyball when we were both 17. Off the court I love to go surfing, snowboarding or play piano and video games.
Opinion KotC format I love every style of volleyball, but this one in particular because it’s so dynamic and spectacular to play and watch. This concept provides the best opportunity to combine professionalism with fun and in my opinion should happily co-exist with “regular” beach volleyball circuit.
