What is Queen &amp; King of the Court? Queen &amp; King of the Court is different way to play beach volleyball. Instead of two teams competing against each other, there are five teams on court! The court is divided into a king's side and a challenger side. It's a knockout race that makes every rally count!How does Queen &amp; King of the Court work? Queen &amp; King of the Court is all about getting to the Queen &amp; King's side and scoring points there. A Queen &amp; King of the Court match starts with five teams. Before the match, they draw playing cards to determine which team may start on the side where points are scored. The remaining four teams start in order of the cards drawn.A match consists of three rounds of fifteen minutes. After the first round, the team with the fewest points is eliminated. The second round starts after a short break with the four remaining teams. After another fifteen minutes, the team with the fewest points is eliminated. The final round is played by three teams. The Ultimate Mashup offers a one-of-a-kind experience for both players and fans. Players are required to team up with someone from another country. International stars are remixed into surprising team combinations, creating spectacular rallies and unpredictable matches. Players who are usually rivals now stand side by side in unique duos you won’t see anywhere else in the world.Can I watch all matches online? Yes! All matches can be followed for free on <a href="http://kotc.tv">kotc.tv</a>. Who is playing in the event? The event in Utrecht will feature an amazing lineup with a mix of the world's best players, beach volleyball legends and Dutch stars. The full field will be announced in the leadup to the event, so make sure to follow our <a href="http://instragram.com/queenkingofthecourt">Instagram</a> and this website! Do I need to buy tickets? The event is only accessible with a valid ticket. Regular ticket sales start with early bird prices from November 27. Prices will not go lower than this! You can choose a grandstand ticket or book an entire skybox (for 6 or 10 people). Children up to 3 years old can attend for free, while children aged 4 to 11 can purchase a child ticket.Can I choose my own skybox? In the ticket shop, you can select the floor for your skybox, but it’s not possible to choose a specific side or corner. The best available skybox will be assigned automatically. Skyboxes purchased for the same session and floor in one order will be placed next to each other, so you and your friends or family will always be together. You’ll receive your tickets and more information about the skybox one week before the event.Is there a minimum age? We do not have a minimum age to visit the event. Children up to 3 years old can attend for free.
