Queen &amp; King of the Court is coming to Sweden for the very first time as an international Crown Series event, organized by Stockholm Beach! The Avicii Arena in Stockholm will turn into the beating heart of beach volleyball. The world’s best players will face Swedish stars Åhman/Hellvig and Hölting Nilsson/Andersson.Fresh off winning the Beach Volleyball World Championship, Åhman/Hellvig enter the event as reigning world champions. They already claimed the QKOTC crown in 2021 (Utrecht), 2022 (Doha), 2023 (Rotterdam) and 2024 (Tenerife). Hölting Nilsson/Andersson secured the silver medal at the World Championship and have competed at QKOTC multiple times, but the podium has remained just out of reach. The event takes place at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, one of the city’s most iconic venues. The Avicii Arena is easy to reach by metro, tram, bus, bike or foot. Globen metro station is just minutes away, and Gullmarsplan bus and tram stops are nearby. Plan your trip with <a href="https://sl.se/">SL Travel Planner</a>. Dedicated bike lanes and 1,000 bike parking spaces are available. Walking from Södermalm takes about 20 minutes. We highly recommend using public transportation to get to the arena. For drivers, there are around 1,500 parking spaces at Globen Shopping and 650 at Arenagaraget below Tele2 Arena, but both fill up quickly during events.

What is Queen &amp; King of the Court? Queen &amp; King of the Court is different way to play beach volleyball. Instead of two teams competing against each other, there are five teams on court! The court is divided into a king's side and a challenger side. It's a knockout race that makes every rally count!How does Queen &amp; King of the Court work? Queen &amp; King of the Court is all about getting to the Queen &amp; King's side and scoring points there. A Queen &amp; King of the Court match starts with five teams. Before the match, they draw playing cards to determine which team may start on the side where points are scored. The remaining four teams start in order of the cards drawn.A match consists of three rounds of fifteen minutes. After the first round, the team with the fewest points is eliminated. The second round starts after a short break with the four remaining teams. After another fifteen minutes, the team with the fewest points is eliminated. The final round is played by three teams. The event is only accessible with a valid ticket. Children up to 2 years old can attend for free, while children aged 3 to 16 can purchase a child ticket for the upper section at half price.Is there a minimum age?
