Queen &amp; King of the Court will take place again this year in the vibrant city of Hamburg! From May 30 to June 2, the event will be held at the Active City Arena on Heiligengeistfeld.   Amazing field of participantsAs in previous years, some of the world's best beach volleyball players will be on display on the battlefield. Germany's top players will compete in their own country against world beach volleyball champions and legendary figures from the sport. Who is in shape right before the Olympics? This promises to be some sporting spectacle!EntertainmentThroughout the weekend, there will be an abundance of entertainment to enjoy in the Active City Arena. Between games, visitors can enjoy live performances, rousing music and spectacular acts. Outside the arena is the fan zone, the ideal place for sports fans and families to enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere, including various activities. The fan zone is free to all. What is Queen &amp; King of the Court?
Queen &amp; King of the Court is different way to play beach volleyball. Instead of two teams competing against each other, there are five teams on court! The court is divided into a king's side and a challenger side. It's a knockout race that makes every rally count!
How does Queen &amp; King of the Court work?
Queen &amp; King of the Court is all about getting to the Queen &amp; King's side and scoring points there. A Queen &amp; King of the Court match starts with five teams. Before the match, they draw playing cards to determine which team may start on the side where points are scored. The remaining four teams start in order of the cards drawn.
A match consists of three rounds of fifteen minutes. After the first round, the team with the fewest points is eliminated. The second round starts after a short break with the four remaining teams. After another fifteen minutes, the team with the fewest points is eliminated. The final round is played by three teams. Whoever has the most points after fifteen minutes, or who is the first to reach fifteen points, wins the match. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuYWVWI30CU">Check out this video</a>
