Beach volleyball takes over Helsinki in true holiday style

After kicking off the first indoor event in London, Queen & King of the Court heads north for its second and final indoor stop of 2025 in Helsinki, on December 19 and 20. This special Christmas Edition will transform Biitsi Salmisaari Sports Center, Finland’s iconic indoor beach venue, into a festive paradise of sand, lights, music, and celebration.

A winter wonderland of beach volleyball
The indoor arena will come alive with festive lights and stands set close to the court, creating an intimate atmosphere where every rally feels just within reach. Fans will witness the world’s best players in action, including Finnish stars Parkkinen and Prihti, fresh off their gold medal victory in Nuvali, as they battle for the final titles of the season. Alongside the thrilling matches, guests can indulge in a truly special experience, featuring live cooking by a private chef in the VIP area and a touch of Finnish luxury in the on-site event sauna, all while watching the games unfold.

Stars, sand & spectacle
Queen & King of the Court turns traditional beach volleyball into a fast-paced knockout race against the clock. Five teams compete on one court in a high-energy format packed with nonstop rallies and dramatic point battles. The concept has already filled arenas in Utrecht, Hamburg, Tenerife, and Miami, and now Helsinki proudly joins the official tour.

The Finnish favorites will be joined by a world-class lineup, including Latvian beach volleyball legend Edgar Tocs and Argentina’s Olympian Nicolás Capogrosso, both ready to bring their fire to the Finnish sand.

The perfect ending to the 2025 season
“We are super excited to host Queen and King of the Court in Helsinki. We started the season together with Sportworx at Beachboard Hacienda Tenerife and what a better way to end the season than QKotC in Helsinki. This gives us the chance to show our latest and coolest venue to the beach volleyball world and host top athletes and our Hacienda customers in this unique way. I'm sure the xmas edition of the event will be one to remember by anyone who attends!” said Ilkka Lassila, co-founder and chairman of Beachboard.

Where sport meets celebration
As the final stop of the 2025 tour, Helsinki promises an unforgettable conclusion to the season where sport, spectacle, and celebration come together under one roof. Over two festive days, fans can enjoy world-class beach volleyball, live music, great food and drinks, and a vibrant Christmas atmosphere. With only 450 seats available and a limited number of exclusive VIP experiences, the event is expected to sell out fast.
