Swedish top teams Åhman & Hellvig, Hölting Nilsson & Andersson and Reffel & Thurin will be in action, promising a night to remember.
For the first time ever, the Crown Series comes to Stockholm, marking the largest venue in Queen & King of the Court history. Thousands of fans have already secured their tickets for this landmark event. For Swedish fans, it’s the first chance to see the double World Championship medalists compete on home soil following their success at the Beach Volleyball World Championship in Australia.
Men’s field brings together the world’s best teams
The men’s field brings together the very best teams in the world. Swedish home teams Åhman & Hellvig, the reigning world champions, and Hölting Nilsson & Andersson, the runners-up, will have the crowd behind them and are neck-and-neck rivals. They face tough competition from Norway’s Mol & Sørum, currently ranked number one in the world. Other top teams include Brazil’s Guto & Jonathan, Latvia’s Plavins & Fokerots, the USA’s Smith & Benesh and France’s Aye & Bassereau, while Austria’s Hammarberg & Berger, England’s Bello brothers and Italy’s Cottafava & Dal Corso could also pull off a surprise. Will the favorites hold their ground or could one of these challengers shake up the podium? For Åhman & Hellvig, a fifth QKOTC crown is on the line. If they succeed, they will move ahead of Clemens Wickler and Katja Stam to become the players with the most QKOTC crowns.
